About us
How The Delaney Difference Came About
Our Mission: Make volunteerism accesible and electrifying for everyone!
Hello, My name is Delaney!
As a committed, lifelong volunteer in my community, I am able to value the benefits of volunteerism in my own life as well as the lives of the people I serve. Volunteering has made me a more confident, empathetic, and empowering leader in my community. The power of volunteerism is extremely beneficial, which is why it is my goal to create communities full of volunteers.
The Idea
My goal is to reach as many people as possible through this website along with my social media accounts, and hopefully inspire those who come into contact with these sources to become a volunteer. Making volunteerism accesible is a hard job, but one I am willing to take on if it means we will have more leaders and volunteers within all communities in the country!

The Statistics
Let’s Dive into the Statistics!
These statistics are not looking great… yet. Let’s start fixing them!
The number of Volunteers dropped 7 percent in one year.
This huge drop occurred between September 2020 and September 2021.
Why teens volunteer, in their own words.
“ I enjoy volunteering because I love giving back to the community that gives so much to me.”
Hannah Hetrick
“ Volunteering helps me gain a new perspective. Volunteering has helped me see that I have so much to be grateful for. It is beautiful to meet new people and to be apart of helping our community! ”
Hannah Snead
“I volunteer mostly because it not only brings me joy to give to others but also I like to think that it might inspire someone else to do something nice for another person, so it all circles back around.”
Caydee Shaw
Small acts, when multiplied by millions of people, can transform the world.
