When researching benefits of volunteering, I came across this mind-blowing fact. But when you think about it, it makes a lot of sense!
My career ambition is to be somewhere in the medical field – definitely in pediatrics. Therefore, I volunteer with kids, visit hospitals, and volunteer for organizations that expose me to medical terminology, working with others, and working one on one with people, which helps me gain experience that will be needed one day in my career.
Use this statistic wisely, and start volunteering to begin preparing you for your career ambition!
